According to The Secret Scout, Chelsea wants to finalize a deal for FK IMT forward Milos Lukovic before loaning him to Strasbourg.
The owner of the Serbian SuperLiga club was recently visited by the Blues recruitment team, who took a plane to Serbia to have discussions with him.
IMT has turned down Chelsea’s initial £4 million offer, stating that they require a part of the sale price to be included in the agreement.
Lukovic has scored ten goals in 19 games this season, demonstrating his excellent play.
With Nicolas Jackson failing in front of goal lately, Chelsea could really use a strong finisher. However, the 18-year-old hasn’t proven himself in a major league yet, so a loan to Ligue 1 may be extremely beneficial to his development.
