OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss Rebels received another transfer commitment as former Tennessee Volunteers defensive end Brandon Turnage announced his commitment to Lane Kiffinand#039’s program via social media on Friday. days for Lafayette (Oxford, Miss.) High School, and he originally signed with the Alabama Crimson Tide before transferring to Tennessee ahead of the 2021 season. In his time with Tennessee, he totaled 48 tackles, one interception, and five pass breakups. During his one season in T-Town, Turnage only registered one pass breakup in one game. Turnage was a four-star recruit in Alabama’s 2019 signing class, and was rated as the No. 12 safety and the No. 8 overall recruit coming out of the Mississippi in the 2019 cycle.
