February 1, 2024, BIRMINGHAM, AL Held annually, the SEC Football Leadership Council will meet Friday and Saturday at the SEC offices in Birmingham. The council is made up of one football student-athlete from each of the 14 SEC universities.
Meetings with SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey, an examination of NCAA and SEC legislative matters, a discussion with SEC Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Katie O’Neal, and discussions with football officials regarding game regulations, interactions between student-athletes and referees, and careers in officiating are all on the group’s agenda for this coming weekend.
