SATURDAY 6 FEBRUARY 1909 – A “capital attendance” in good weather at Parkhead sees Scottish Cup holders Celtic beat Port Glasgow Athletic 4-0 in the Scottish Cup. Captain Jimmy Hay scores twice and the other goals are scored by Jimmy Quinn and Davie Hamilton.
