After it was first rumored that a permanent transfer for the Colombian international was imminent, a loan agreement was reached, allowing him to finish the season at Hillsborough.
A loan deal was agreed after it was initially was reported that a permanent transfer was on the cards for the Colombia international, seeing him stay at Hillsborough for the remainder of the campaign.
With his contract expiring at the conclusion of the season, Poveda is the latest player to leave the team on a loan, making this loan arrangement as good as a permanent departure.
His contract expires in the summer, thus he will be joining Lewis Bate, Luke Ayling, and Robin Koch in leaving Elland Road on loan this season.
