New york yankees best player is gone for life…

The New York Yankees got some bad news about one of the club’s promising young infielders. Oswald Peraza was New York’s No. 2 prospect in 2022 but things haven’t gone as planned for him so far. The young infielder has struggled at the big league level in 70 total games but was expected to get a larger opportunity in 2024. Segura would make a lot of sense for New York. He had a rough 2023 season but is a career .289 hitter and has seen time at second base, third base, and shortstop throughout his big league career. New York’s offense was in a bad place in 2023 but seems to be better right now. Landing someone like Segura to fill in for Peraza could help add even more depth. Copyright ABG-SI LLC.
