To say that Monday has been a rough day for injuries on the New York Yankees would be an understatement.

It was revealed that Gerrit Cole, their ace and reigning AL Cy Young award winner, will be having an MRI performed on his right elbow.

Now, their best position player, Aaron Judge, is also “beat up,” or at least that’s what manager Aaron Boone tried to explain to the media.

“Boone said that Aaron Judge is ‘mid-spring beat up.’ He’s not in his scheduled BP group. Not expected to play again until Wednesday, Boone said,” Yankees insider Bryan Hoch tweeted
