Breaking news : NFL has just suspended two Seattle seahawks players due to….

As is tradition with the former Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos quarterback, the 35-year-old marked his arrival in the Steel City by posting a corny workout video to social media that features him doing an outdoor workout in silly sunglasses.

“Love the Work. The Best Is Ahead,” Wilson tweeted alongside a video of him doing some training on Wednesday, March 20.

Wilson signed with the Steelers earlier in the offseason after being cut by the Denver Broncos after just two seasons in the Mile High City. Given what they gave up in the trade, the nature of Wilson’s contract, and the lack of success that he had with the team, the Broncos’ acquisition of Wilson is considered to be among the worst trades in NFL history.

Due to his shortcomings in Denver, Wilson is entering the 2024 season with tons to prove. While he’ll reportedly enter training camp as the team’s starting signal caller, that could certainly change if Wilson underperforms given that the Steelers also traded for former Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.

To his credit, Wilson was classy when responding to Fields’ arrival in Denver, tweeting that their quarterback room is “about to be fire.”

The Steelers bringing in Wilson and Fields comes after two seasons of Kenny Pickett playing quarterback for the team. Despite spending a first-round pick on him just two years ago, the Steelers have shipped him to Philadelphia to back up Jalen Hurts.

Wilson was drafted out of the University of Wisconsin in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Wilson spent 10 seasons with the Seahawks and helped lead them to the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl title in 2013.

During his 12-year NFL career, Wilson has been named to nine Pro Bowls and led the NFL in touchdown passes in 2017.
