Baseball America updated its list of the top 100 prospects, and five of them included players from the New York Yankees organization.
All five of the Yankees’ top prospects, according to Baseball America, are position players, including one player who has spent the entire start of the season with the MLB team.

Wells has been at the Major League level for the entire to start the season. He is hitting .196 in 19 games entering Thursday.
Arias and Lombard Jr. are two young shortstop prospects the Yankees have at the lower levels in the minor leagues.
Arias, 19, started the 2024 season in low-A and is slashing .207/.324/.368 at Single-A Tampa, the low-A affiliate of the Yankees.
