BREAKING NEWS: Lakers player has terminated his contract  that worth $66.2 million with the…

Interestingly enough, none of these games will take place at the Lakers’ Crypto.com arena.

The first two (versus the Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns) will take place at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. The final game, against the Golden State Warriors, will take place at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

All three opponents feature big stars.

Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, who are about to enter Game 7 in their Western Conference semifinal series against the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets, are first on the list. Minnesota is looking for its first conference finals berth in 20 years.

Then there’s Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns, who are wondering what’s next after a brutal first-round sweep versus the Timberwolves. Phoenix has already made a coaching change, replacing Frank Vogel with Mike Budenholzer.

Finally, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and the Warriors come to Las Vegas in a showdown with the Lakers. It remains to be seen whether they’ll be joined by longtime teammate and five-time All-Star Klay Thompson, who is set to be a free agent.

As for the Lakers, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them making some changes after a disappointing first-round exit to the Nuggets.

Anthony Davis will assuredly be back, but everything else is up in the air, especially with LeBron James holding a player option he can decline to become a free agent. But we’ll see how things develop soon enough with the draft looming in June and free agency getting underway in July.
