Why Draymond Green becomes Highest-paid NBA player at $257million per-year after Agreeing to…

The Timberwolves entered the Western Conference semifinals with so much hype after sweeping Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns. In that series, Edwards put up a marvelous performance while the rest of the team played their parts perfectly to knock their first round opponents out of contention.

That hype carried through the first two games of their series against the Nikola Jokic-led Nuggets. During that stretch, Minnesota was able to defeat the defending champions twice in a row. That feat had everybody talking about how they can eliminate Denver and win the whole playoffs, mostly because of Edwards’ stellar performance.

The same can’t be said now after the Nuggets have won three straight games to come close to eliminating Minnesota. Thanks to Jokic’s MVP-worthy performance and other key pieces showing up for Games 3, 4, and 5, Denver has turned the narrative around when it comes to their case as title contenders.
