Dallas Cowboys Make A Major Blockbuster Trade For A Dynamic Running Back…
Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys were expected to come into the offseason with a very aggressive approach after their heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs last season. To the dismay of the fans, they were extremely quiet and have been getting ripped for their lack of aggressiveness.
Instead, the Cowboys will keep relatively the same roster together heading into 2024. With that in mind, Dallas is also facing what could be a major make-or-break season.
Many believe that if the Cowboys don’t win the NFC East and make a deep playoff run, they will go through a massive teardown of the current team. Both Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy are firmly on the hot seat this year. That alone makes their lack of offseason aggressiveness strange.
One of the biggest losses that the Dallas Cowboys suffered this offseason was Tony Pollard leaving in free agency. It wouldn’t have been as big of a deal if the team had replaced him. As of right now, they’re projected to start Ezekiel Elliott in the backfield.
Elliott isn’t bad, but he has slowed down a lot from his superstar days with the Cowboys. Could the team still look to make a move at running back before the season?
