The Raiders of Las Vegas Make a Huge Contract Commitment On…

The Las Vegas Raiders took care of the defense with a contract move they made Thursday night. The Raiders have made a few key roster decisions this week.

On Wednesday, the Raiders signed former New York Giants returner and wide receiver Alex Bachman. This offseason, the Raiders have tried to boost their offensive roster by using their first three picks of the 2024 NFL Draft on that side of the ball.

Now, the Raiders should look to fortify their defense. Many Raiders fans are hoping for secondary help before the upcoming season. Whoever plays in the secondary this season will benefit from Maxx Crosby being a happy camper in Las Vegas.

Per Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Raiders restructured Maxx Crosby’s contract to give him a raise for 2024:

Raiders reworked the contract of three-time Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to give him a $6 million raise for the upcoming season, per league sources. The team also moved an additional $1.2 million into 2025.

The Raiders wanted to reward their leader, culture setter, and one of the best players in the league with the intent of keeping him in Las Vegas for years to come. No new years were added to Crosby’s deal, meaning the 26-year-old still has three years left on his current contract.
