Kansas City Royals Sign a new Head coach from Minnesota Twins…

It’s still hard to figure out exactly what kind of team the Minnesota Twins are going to be this year, as consistency hasn’t been their best friend.

Even in Monday’s win over the Kansas City Royals, the Twins almost fumbled things away in the ninth inning when Jhoan Duran cotinued with his struggles on the mound. The key takeaway, though, was the the end result was still a win and it was one Minnesota badly needed.

The Twins have won five of their last six games, improving their record to 22-11 since starting the season 7-13. Perhaps more importantly, Minnesota is 4-1 against the Royals this year which is critical considering how hot Kansas City has been out of the gate.

Comning into Monday’s game the Royals had a lead of over five games on the Twins in the AL Central, something Minnesota is hoping to siginficantly cut into over the course of this week. Things got off to a great start, but whether or not that will remain consistent has been a question following the team around all year.
