San Francisco 49ers Sign Wide Receiver, 2024 Draft Pick, to Two-Year Contract at…

The San Francisco 49ers knocked out one obstacle this offseason related to the 2020 wide receivers they drafted. The 49ers had former seventh-round pick Jauan Jennings and former first-round pick Brandon Aiyuk negotiating for new deals.

The negotiations came at a time when the 49ers have a lot of smoke around their receiver corps this offseason. With cap space tight, the 49ers were rumored to explore trade options for Deebo Samuel or Aiyuk. More questions about the group were voiced following the 49ers’ decision to draft wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 pick in the draft.

Jennings is set to make about $5.25 million per year in base salary, which isn’t bad for a receiver with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in his four-year NFL career.
