Ahead of the Berlin double-header this weekend, we hear from reigning champion and Mercedes-EQ driver Nyck de Vries, Nissan e.dams’ Max Guenther and TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E’s Andre Lotterer about their thoughts on the new Gen3 car, what they make of the reverse circuit on the Sunday and how the plan to play Rounds 7 & 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
“It’s always great to to race on home soil and it was super nice to win here in Season 6, but obviously it was without any spectators – it wasn’t quite the same feeling. The racing is always good. It’s a track where you can overtake really well and where energy management is obviously is very important. The surface here is very unique, so you have got kind of different challenges on on this track.
“[The start of the season] was not an easy for us. We know it and we accept this this challenge. For me, it’s always the same going into the race weekend – I’m always focusing on my job and trying to extract everything.”
