Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has insisted he’s not concerned about taking on Belgium’s stars such as Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, insisting the latter is “not a God”.

The Newcastle goalkeeper has been speaking to DH Net about Belgium as the two sides gear up to face each other on Monday.

Belgium take on Slovakia in the first game of Group E at Euro 2024, with the two sides in a group alongside Romania and Ukraine.

The Red Devils are expected to finish top in that group and proceed to the knockout stages of the competitions, with their squad still among the best at the tournament and brimming with international talent.

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is the undisputed standout but there is also the likes of Youri Tielemans, Leandro Trossard, Jeremy Doku and Romelu Lukaku to consider as well.

The latter is his country’s all-time record goal scorer despite being just 31 years old, having managed 85 goals in 115 games for his country to date, a goal every 88 minutes. That puts him far ahead of Eden Hazard, who sits second in the charts with 33 to his name.

The Chelsea owned striker is clearly a threat, but the Newcastle United goalkeeper is not concerned in the slightest.
