As the 2024 NFL season continues to draw closer, the pressure continues to mount surrounding the Dallas Cowboys.

After yet another brutal playoff collapse last season, falling in the Wild Card round to the Green Bay Packers, Jerry Jones is done playing games. He chose to run it back for one more year with the team’s core intact, but another disappointing season in 2024 and major changes could take place.

Despite how much is riding on the 2024 campaign, the Cowboys were not very aggressive during the offseason. They didn’t make any sizable moves to greatly improve the roster.

Could the Dallas Cowboys now look to change that and get aggressive on the trade market before the 2024 season kicks off?

Sports Illustrated’s Dallas Cowboys’ website, Cowboys Country, has linked the team to an intriguing trade with the Tennessee Titans. The move would bring young wide receiver Treylon Burks to Dallas.

“Dallas was very high on Burks coming out of the 2022 NFL draft, so there is a chance that the Cowboys could view Burks as a low-cost reclamation project.”

Burks was the No. 18 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Since then, he has been unable to make much of an impact on the field. He has also struggled to stay on the field due to injury issues.

In his two seasons in the NFL, Burks has played in just 22 games. He has caught 49 passes for 665 yards and a touchdown.
