The Minnesota Vikings mourns the death of player who has lost his life in a plane crash….. See more….
I have been looking at what could be the weakest position groups on the team and now feel I should look at the strongest. Right off the bat, most would say wide receiver because of the greatest that is Justin Jefferson and the really solid play of Jordan Addison. Beyond these two it gets a bit dicey. You really only Brandon Powell who has done anything worth mentioning. Maybe you could argue offensive tackle, safety, or edge rusher as being possibly stronger overall? But “Jets” fantastic play really has put receiver at the top.
I would say safety might be right there due to the future Hall of Famer, Harrison Smith, Cam Bynum, Josh Mettelus, Jay Ward, Theo Jackson, and even Lewis Cine. At edge rusher we have Jonathan Greenard, Andrew Van Ginkel, Dallas Turner, Jihad Ward, Patrick Jones II, Andre Carter II, & Gabriel Murphy.
It is pretty close but I am a bit biased and feel that receiver is still stronger. They can still add another free agent and you never know when a player on another team might become expendable.

Michael Thomas would be interesting but I am not sure the Vikings would be a team he would want to play for considering the QB situation. He is 31 years old and probably wants the best chance possible to play in the Super Bowl. I want to believe the Vikings can make it and always have that hope but I cannot drank that purple sizzurp.
