United States defeats Bolivia and sets sights on the American League Central…

Friday afternoon, 4-star linebacker Tyler Lockhart announced on his personal social media that he would be decommitting from the Auburn football program and reopening his recruitment. From Winona, Mississippi, Lockhart is ranked as the #19 linebacker in the recruiting class of 2025 and is the #5 prospect out of his state.

Lockhart’s decommitment was announced on the heels of his visit to Mississippi State where his brother plays. The linebacker’s commitment came as a surprise back in May as he was trending towards the Bulldogs, and it seems the in-state program is giving Lockhart second thoughts.

Despite the loss of two commits this past week, Auburn football’s recruiting class of 2025 is still ranked in the top 10 nationally and contains 14 commits.

Over the weekend, Auburn legend Bo Jackson was honored by the Kansas City Royals. A duel athlete at Auburn, Jackson was drafted as the first overall pick by Tampa Bay in the 1986 NFL Draft after winning the Heisman Trophy in 1985.

In a shocking move, Jackson pivoted, and signed instead with the Kansas City Royals after being chosen in the fourth round of the 1986 First-Year Player Draft. He was inducted into the Royals Hall of Fame in a ceremony that took place ahead of Kansas City’s American League game against the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday.
