New face will train with Sunderland tomorrow confirms board source…

Sunderland are back in business after returning to pre-season training this week.

Regis Le Bris has clearly given a good first impression to the squad, with Chris Rigg set to sign his first professional contract after meeting him.

The Frenchman will be tasked with transforming a struggling, inexperienced team, while working with Kristjaan Speakman to bring in some much-needed additions.

Le Bris will be well aware of the club’s lack of goal-scorers and will be desperate to bring in a new striker if he is to be given any chance of guiding Sunderland to the play-offs.

The Black Cats haven’t been linked with too many players so far, but one striker who has continuously been on their radar for most of the year is Divin Mubama.

The ‘clever’ forward is wanted in England and across Europe after rejecting a new contract at West Ham.

It was recently reported that Mubama was ‘leaning towards’ a move abroad, however it now looks like he could be on his way to Wearside.According to GIVEMESPORT, Sunderland are in pole position to sign the 19-year-old this summer.
