West Brom must be worried about Superstar with move to sign £40m Premier League…

Euro 2024 has been a scintillating ride thus far for football fans across the continent. England are getting ready for a massive quarter-final clash with Switzerland on Saturday, July 6 – but before that takes place, let’s take a look at all the biggest rumours from around West Bromwich Albion and the Championship.

West Brom could put forth a ‘serious’ effort to sign a free agent who has recently been released by Sheffield United, following the conclusion of his deal with the Blades. They aren’t alone, though – Sunderland and Watford are also believed to be interested.

Meanwhile fellow Championship outfit Luton Town are also in the hunt for a midfielder on a free transfer. The player in question was most recently at Brentford – can Rob Edwards’ men get a deal over the line?

The Baggies, alongside Sunderland and Watford, could put forth a ‘serious’ effort to sign Oliver Norwood on a free transfer in the summer window, following his release from Sheffield United at the end of last season.

This is according to a report from journalist Michael Graham. He writes that no club has reached an ‘advanced’ stage of negotiations as of yet – due to this, the door is still wide open for any clubs willing to take the 33-year-old on board ahead of next season.

The Northern Ireland international had a rough time in the Premier League last season – as did the rest of the Blades’ squad. He made 27 league appearances, scoring just the one goal along the way, as United finished rock bottom of the table.
