West Bromwich Assistant Manager Carlos Corberán Vallet Terminates Contract Following…

Michael Hefele has released a statement after his exit from the West Brom coaching staff was confirmed by the club.

Hefele worked under Carlos Corberan as a first-team assistant coach but has departed The Hawthorns to pursue a new challenge overseas.

After the club announced his exit officially [12 July], the coach took to his personal X account [13 July] to release a statement thanking the fans and players for his time at the club.

“The time has come to say goodbye to [West Brom],” he wrote.

“I want to thank the football club, the staff, the players and supporters for everything we’ve been through together.

“For me football it’s not all about just ‘the football player’ or ‘great tactics’ etc. For me, it’s more about the human behind the player/staff. It’s about strong and deep relationships. It’s about caring for each other to improve and to help everyone who needs and wants help to arrive to the highest level.

“This gave me so much fulfilling and I love to see people succeeding, progressing and being a coach.
