SAD NEWS: Kaizer Chiefs Dismisses 5 Kaizer Chiefs key players just a minute ago due to…
Kaizer Chiefs are making changes to their squad hoping to improve on their disastrous 2024/25 Premier Soccer League season.
GOAL confirmed Amakhosi have already agreed a fee with Cape Town Spurs on the sale of highly-rated defender Rushwin Dortley, but the player’s representatives had yet to agree personal terms.
The Bafana Bafana international has now, however, confirmed he is indeed leaving the now second-tier outfit for a new challenge after bidding his former teammates goodbye.
“I want to say thank you to the owners for giving me the opportunity seven years ago and it has been a good seven years,” the 22-year-old stated during a leaving ceremony at Cape Town Spurs.
“I want to thank all the junior coaches who have been part of my development. I also wanna say thank you to coach [Ernst Middendorp] for pushing me and believing that I can do better. Even though I got frustrated sometimes I always understood the reason why.
“I just want to say thank you to my teammates to both those who are here and who are not, for pushing me and always being there, not always as a teammate, but as a brother as well. Thank you to everyone and thank you to the club,” Dortley concluded.
