Miami Heat Sign a Big class key player from Golden State Warriors…

Syracuse, N.Y. ― With a big boost from former Syracuse forward Cole Swider, the Miami Heat won the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League title with a 120-118 overtime win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

Swider, who played at SU during the 2021-22 season, scored 19 points in the Heat’s victory.

The 6-foot-8 forward had been shooting well from 3-point range in the Heat’s first five games in Las Vegas, knocking down 41% of his shots from beyond the 3-point arc.

But in Monday’s final, Swider scorched the nets. In 23 minutes off the bench, he connected on six of his 10 shots from the field and made 5-of-8 from the 3-point line. He also went 2-for-3 at the foul line to finish with 19 points.
