NASCAR Cup Series championship-contending driver Alex Bowman will be joining fans and taking a lap around Watkins Glen International at a slightly slower pace than he’s accustomed to as part of Bike the Glen on Wednesday, Aug. 14.

Bowman qualified for the playoffs by virtue of his win in the Chicago Street Race in July, locking him in as one of the 16 drivers who will pursue the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series championship. The Go Bowling at The Glen on Sept. 15 will serve as a playoff race for the first time in history, slotted into the second of three races in the opening round of the playoffs – the Round of 16.

Fans will have the chance to listen to Bowman talk about his racing career, making healthy choices, and his passion for helping rescue animals, before he jumps on a bike to make a trip around the historic New York road course alongside them.

Tickets for Bike the Glen are $15 for adults while kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at theglen.com.
