$207 Million Superstar Could Be Trade Target For Miami Marlins…

Derek Hill had three hits and hit two home runs for the second time in his career, Kyle Stowers also had three hits and drove in four runs, and the Miami Marlins defeated the Colorado Rockies 12-8 on Thursday, splitting their four-game series.

Ali Sánchez had three hits and stole home, Otto Lopez had three hits, and Connor Norby had two hits to extend his hitting streak to 10 games for the Marlins, who set a season-high with 18 hits.

“Eighteen hits, we’ll sign up for that any day of the week,” said Marlins manager Skip Schumacher. “Up and down the lineup, it was just a really good offensive day. This stadium is not easy to win at. No lead is safe.”

Hill, who also hit a homer on Wednesday, has four home runs and 15 RBIs in 22 games since the Marlins picked him up off waivers from San Francisco on August 3.

Stowers had eight hits in the series, including a double, triple, and homer. He was acquired from Baltimore at the trade deadline.
