January 1, 1977: Ohio State running back Jeff Logan carries the ball during a 27-10 victory over Colorado in the 1977 Orange Bowl. Logan scored on a 36 yard touchdown run during the victory. The game marked the only time an Ohio State football team played at the Orange Bowl stadium. The game also marked the second consecutive year a Big 10 school played in the New Year’s Orange Bowl game. Michigan lost to Oklahoma 14-16 the previous year. A native of North Canton, OH, Logan entered the 1976 season with the tough taskof replacing 2-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin at tailback….
