Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane made a series of moves on Wednesday to get the team closer to being cap compliant. Many of the moves could not have been easy as the general manager had to part ways with players who helped change the culture of the team.
Beane released the likes of Tre’Davious White, Jordan Poyer and Mitch Morse on Wednesday. White was Sean McDermott’s first draft pick as head coach of the Bills. Poyer, an All-Pro safety, was among the first free agent additions made by McDermott and Morse came a few seasons later in 2019. All three made a lasting impact on the team during their respective tenures with the Bills.
In addition to the trio listed above, Buffalo also released Siran Neal and Deonte Harty while reworking Von Miller’s contract
