TRAGEDY: Jalen Carter Set to Return Against Georgia Bulldogs…….
Smith is scheduled to be in Athens multiple times over the next few months. He will be at Georgia on Tuesday for the first spring practice. He plans to return for the G-Day spring game on April 13. Smith already scheduled his official visit to Georgia from May 31-June 2, the weekend the Bulldogs plan to have its highest percentage of eventual 2025 signees.
He also has official visits to Alabama (June 14-16) and Tennessee (June 21-23) on the books.
The Westlake (Ga.) wide receiver thinks he will be able to come to a decision shortly after that.
“Pretty much I want to get done before July rolls around, so right after that Tennessee visit pretty much. I think I’ll have it pretty much made up in my mind after those OVs,” Smith told Dawgs247.
Georgia flirted with disaster against Missouri in the opening round of the SEC Tournament. While the performance wasn’t pretty, the Bulldogs found what they needed to advance to the second day.
RJ Melendez had a clutch steal and layup and Justin Hill hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1:42 to go to help the Bulldogs hold off the Tigers by a 64-59 score. The win stands as Georgia’s first in the SEC Tournament since 2019-20 and sets them up with another showdown against Florida.
Blue Cain had 19 points and was followed by Hill, who had 17. Nick Honor led Missouri with 14.
