Detroit Lions defensive end and team captain Charles Harris is widely respected in the locker room, admired by his coaches and teammates for his demeanor and how he carries himself. However, his endeavors off the field could garner even more admiration.

Teaming up with We Are ILL (WAI), Harris is hosting a movie night on Thursday for families affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), while also generating awareness about the condition. The event will take place from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak.
