A former Detroit Lions wide receiver is on the move

Reynolds had 40 catches for 608 yards and five touchdowns this past season for the Lions. Reynolds signed a two-year deal that goes up to $14 million with Denver. This opens up the role of the second WR for Jameson Williams and can potentially open up more opportunities for Donovan Peoples-Jones. There’s also the chance Brad Holmes adds another WR via the draft or free agency.

Detroit hosts the NFL Draft from April 25th–27th and holds the 29th overall pick in the draft as well.

Lions Bring Back Veteran QB After Injury-Shortened Season

With second-year quarterback Hendon Hooker expected to take over No. 2 duties with the Detroit Lions this season, the team brought in something of an insurance policy.

The Lions announced on March 27 that they re-signed veteran quarterback Nate Sudfeld for his third season in Detroit. Hooker joined the team prior to the start of the 2022 season and appeared in two games that season, but suffered a torn ACL during training camp last year and missed the entire 2023 season.
