On Sunday, the Florida Panthers took a stranglehold 3-1 series lead over the Boston Bruins after their 3-2 win on Sunday, while the Vancouver Canucks triumphantly defeated the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 to go up 2-1 in their series. The Oilers/Canucks games have been incredible so far and are must-watch hockey.
The Carolina Hurricanes stayed alive on Saturday with a 4-3 win as the New York Rangers are still up 3-1 in the series, while the Dallas Stars won their second in a row to take a 2-1 lead over the Colorado Avalanche.
Brad Marchand missed Game 4 on Sunday after a sucker punch from Sam Bennett. This angle wasn’t shown until last night, but it was pretty clearly a dirty play from Bennett that went unpenalized.
