Alexander was widely regarded as one of the NFL’s top cornerbacks just a couple years back. Green Bay rewarded him as such with a four-year, $84 million contract that made him the NFL’s highest paid corner.
Injuries and inconsistent play have hurt both Alexander and the Packers, though.
The diminutive Alexander (5-10, 196) played just four games in 2021 due to a shoulder injury. Alexander played just seven games in 2023 due to back and shoulder injuries and was also suspended a game for conduct detrimental to the team.
