He made his debut replacing Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the No:88 Chevy and then later took over the No:48 team if Jimmie Johnson after the seven-time champions’ retirement.

Alex Bowman recently has revealed his best teammate ever while unveiling his car’s paint scheme for the upcoming Darlington Throwback weekend. He is set to race with a car with livery inspired by the Lowe’s car scheme that Johnson used on his debut in 2002 and used it till 2005. While talking about it Bowman revealed his best teammate ever.

He pointed out that the great, Jimmie Johnson was his best teammate ever and asserted that the current LMC driver is a great human being. Bowman is elated to have had the opportunity to learn from someone with such a work ethic and good mentor. He asserted that Johnson made him a better racer and a better person.
