Christian McCaffrey BECOMES HIGHEST-PAID NBA PLAYER AT $67 MILLION PER YEAR AFTER AGREEING TO….

Every year, EA Sports releases its latest edition of Madden, its hit football video game franchise, and every year, it features an NFL star on the cover.

This year, that featured star is San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, the NFL’s reigning Offensive Player of the Year.

This year’s cover depicts McCaffrey rushing the ball with a pack of Las Vegas defenders chasing him from behind.

However, as The Athletic’s David Lombardi pointed out in a Twitter post, McCaffrey hasn’t played against the Raiders as a 49er in the Niners’ red uniforms, thus implying that the photo is taking a shot at the Raiders.

Although it has been a few years since the Raiders moved out of Oakland and into Nevada, the rivalry between them and the 49ers appears to still be alive, and 49ers fans still love to hate the Raiders and their fans.

McCaffrey led the league with 1,459 rushing yards while scoring 14 rushing touchdowns and adding 564 yards and seven touchdowns in the air last season.

Many consider him the best all-around running back in football not only because of his ability to gain yardage on the ground or even because of his physical running style, but also because of his versatility.

He can not only catch screen passes, but unlike most other tailbacks, he can actually line up as a wide receiver and run actual routes, not to mention add yardage after the catch.

McCaffrey is a major reason some are favoring San Francisco to finally win the Super Bowl championship this coming season.
