West Bromwich Sign a new Big key players Form Manchester United…
Peterborough United have signed Jenson Sumnall following his West Brom departure, as announced by their official club website.
Peterborough United have decided to sign the defender on a free transfer. He has penned a one-year deal with the League One side, with the club holding the option for a further 12 months on top of that.
Sumnall, 18, wasn’t offered another contract by West Brom following the end of last season and has been allowed to move on as a free agent.
Peterborough United will be hoping Sumnall can be a useful long-term option for them in the future.
Darren Ferguson’s side were beaten in the play-offs in this past term at the semi-finals stage by eventual winners Oxford United.
He will initially link up with the Posh’s Under-21’s side with a view to breaking into their first-team in the future.
Sumnall started out in non-league with Southern League Central Premier Division side Stourbridge before West Brom signed him in 2022.
